Our mission is to help our students become future leaders in both scientific endeavours and innovative initiatives, in research or industry.
Hosting 8000 students, we are concerned with both the quality of our training and the future career opportunities we provide. We offer more than 50 degrees in the various disciplines, including BSc, MSc and PhD degrees.
Active exchange programs with foreign universities exist, either under the umbrella of the ERASMUS student exchange program, or via specific initiatives with American, Asian or Mediterranean universities.
Our graduate and research programs span the scientific universe - from the subatomic to the galactic, from pure mathematics to biotechnology, or from biological systems to environment and earth sciences.
Within our research teams, graduate students (MSc and PhD level) participate in cutting-edge research, using state-of-the-art facilities in the 35 highly-renowned research centers affiliated to the Faculty.
