Après une première année dans le portail scientifique Marie Curie et les deux dernières années de la licence pour l'ingénieur parcours Physique appliquée et instrumentation (PAI), le diplômé aura assimilé des connaissances en systèmes de mesures, instrumentation, capteurs et métrologie (applications industrielles, recherche et développement). Il maîtrisera les techniques élémentaires de mesure et l’utilisation des logiciels d’acquisition, d’analyse et de traitement des données. Il maîtrisera également l'instrumentation en physique et physico-chimie.

FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES
Entry to the L3 PAI course of the SPI Licence requires a level of "scientific bac +2" oriented towards engineering sciences.

LEARNING AND RESEARCH
Discovery of the activities of research laboratories through seminars with teacher-researchers and tutored projects (bibliographical research and/or laboratory work). Possibility of doing the L3 internship in a research laboratory.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
Analyse and understand the physical measurement and instrumentation solutions used in the design of multi-technology systems, particularly in the fields of electronics, automation and electrical engineering
Develop a systematic and rigorous scientific approach enabling the implementation of a suitable solution in response to a problem linked to a multi-technology system
Present or write, in a structured, synthetic, clear and rigorous manner, a critical argument based on a scientific document or technical documentation, in French or English at the intermediate level
Develop and implement an individual or group project related to the engineering sciences, using project management methodologies that encourage the restitution and sharing of the results producedINTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS
An internship of at least six weeks is integrated into the PAI degree at the end of S6, which may take place in a company or in an academic laboratory. Team projects are also assessed for two modules in S5.
SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS
The pedagogy in the PAI degree is based first of all on lectures, illustrated with concrete examples in tutorials, and leading for some to an application in practical sessions and/or by team projects.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Hold a title or diploma of scientific bac + 2 (two years of license, DUT, BTS or BTSA) oriented engineering sciences (physics, physical measurements, mechanics, physical chemistry, electronics, laboratory techniques, industrial computing, automation). Admission by right following the L2 SPI of AMU, or on application from other studies.
