Licence Sciences Sanitaires et Sociales, Parcours : Sciences sanitaires et sociales

L’objectif de la Licence Sciences Sanitaires et Sociales est d’offrir aux étudiants une formation pluridisciplinaire (associant les sciences biologiques et médicales, le droit, la sociologie, la psychologie et l’économie-gestion) centrée sur la personne.

Pédagogie

  • AIMS

    The Health and Social Sciences pathway enables students:

    • acquire sound knowledge for tackling the major problems of the health and social sector using an approach combining biological and medical sciences, human and social sciences, law and economics.
    • acquire cross-disciplinary skills (English, communication, etc.) and professional skills (project management, discovery of the professional environment, etc.) to facilitate further study and professional integration.
  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    The first year of the bachelor's degree is a joint year with the SV, SVT and chemistry bachelor's degrees. It is open to any candidate holding a baccalaureate with scientific specialities or a diploma accepted as equivalent.

  • FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES

    Access to the next year of law for students currently studying for their degree
    Access possible after examination of the application by an academic committee:
    • in L2 for students who have validated their PASS,
    • in L2 or L3 for students in the health and social care sector from another bachelor's degree, or holders of a DUT, BTS,...., or by validation of prior learning (VAE/VAP).

    The Health and Social Sciences pathway enables students to acquire solid knowledge:

    • in human biology, physiology - human physiopathology, psychology and health (BCC Biological and Medical Sciences)
    • in health economics, law and sociology; (BCC environnement juridique, économique et social de la santé)
    • in languages (French, English), communication (written and oral), professional integration,... (BCC Communication)
  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    The Health and Social Sciences pathway enables students to acquire the following skills:

    • Put fundamental biological and medical science knowledge into perspective to analyse health problems (BCC Biological and Medical Sciences)
    • Mobilise knowledge of how the health system works in order to situate health and social action in its economic, sociological and legal context (BCC Environnement juridique, économique et social de la sante)
    • Develop the student's good practices, postures and attitudes aimed at enabling them to succeed in their higher education studies and their entry into professional life (BCC Communication)
  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    This pathway offers the opportunity to carry out an optional internship created in L2 (semester 4). The placement leads to a written dissertation and an oral presentation.

    In addition to the internship created as part of the curriculum, students may carry out additional internships during periods when teaching is interrupted.

    Tutoring projects, integrated into the teaching or in the form of specific UEs, are offered in L2 and L3.

    The SUIO (Service Universitaire d'Insertion et d'Orientation) provides students with documentation, counsellors and guidance counsellors for personalised support. It organises events dedicated to guidance and career planning (career planning modules, forums, workshops, etc.).

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION

    Courses are offered to our students in order to facilitate their professional integration:

    • the PPPE UEs throughout the bachelor's degree enable them to discover the professional world, refine their project and build their post-bachelor's training project;
    • the work placement UE enables them to test their professional project, to develop their professional network,
    • the Communication UE enables the acquisition of communication principles adapted to the labour market.
