Licence Sciences et Humanités, Parcours : Transdisciplinarité

Common core for 2 years. Choice of courses in the 3rd year:

Course A: Transdisciplinary. Opens up to Masters in the dissemination of knowledge and multidisciplinary Masters (urban planning, comparative social sciences, etc.).

Course B: Disciplinary specialisation (Life Sciences, Philosophy, Physical Sciences, History, Mathematics, Language Sciences, Modern Letters, Anthropology, Sociology, Teaching). Offers a progressive transition to the Master's degree in the chosen discipline.

The diversity of disciplinary fields explored in the Sciences and Humanities degree is an opportunity for students to open up and learn. Transdisciplinarity, at the heart of this training, is defined in three pedagogical areas: mastery of the disciplinary foundations, a critical relationship with knowledge, and the development of rational exercise and oral and written expression.

The teaching is based on the principles of the "science and humanities" degree, which is the foundation of the sciences and humanities, and is based on the principles of the "science and humanities" degree, which is the foundation of the sciences and humanities

The teaching is developed around three thematic blocks that are explored in greater depth each semester over the course of the three years: Inhabiting the Earth, Observing measuring discovery, Individuals and society.

This is complemented by a cross-disciplinary block that includes English language teaching related to the themes, as well as teaching methods and workshops

It is by playing the game of an organically transdisciplinary training programme, breaking with the classic juxtaposition of knowledge and teaching, that students will be able to approach the objectives they have set themselves, have the chance to move forward in the realisation of their projects and desires, and discover a little more about who they are.

The knowledge to be acquired covers several disciplinary fields, from mathematics to natural sciences (physics, biology, thermodynamics, ecology, climatology, paleoanthropology, ethology, etc.), through human and social sciences (philosophy, sociology, linguistics, history, art history, literature, psychology, economics, etc.), but also epistemology. They should ultimately enable the student to acquire a broad and solid scientific training, and possibly to integrate the disciplinary master's degree of their choice.

Bac (all types) or equivalent.

Registration must be preceded by an individual interview and a study of the school record (first and last year report cards).

For applicants from French or similar institutions, they are asked to go through the Parcoursup platform and request an interview by email by writing to: sciences-licence-sh-info@univ-amu.fr

For applicants from other institutions, it is requested to go through the Etudes en France platform, but no interview request is made. The latter will eventually be set up after examination of the application by the teaching team.
