Language Center

Located on the second floor of the TD Building, the St-Jérôme Language Centre serves the entire Etoile campus, offering its 12 permanent teachers and its premises to 40 different courses, all fields combined.

Approved to administer the TOEIC® exams (an internationally recognized language test required by many companies when hiring), it currently has 4 standard classrooms, 3 audioactive language laboratories and a multimedia laboratory.

English Drama Club

The English Drama Club provides students and staff with a fun and relaxed way to practice their spoken English through drama. All levels.

Located on the 6th floor, block B, of building 5, the language service of the Faculty of Sciences at St-Charles comprises 7 full professors and several lecturers.

  • General objectives

    • To master the communication tools and techniques necessary to enter the professional world and research
    • Reach or consolidate the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
    • To become autonomous in learning English.

    Tools :

    • eCUME (via ENT): database of exams and their answers, online forums, videos, all updated regularly
    • loan of DVDs, grammar books, etc.
    • conversation classes open to all, in a spirit of conviviality

    TOEIC test center :

    • Preparation for the TOEIC (Test Of English for International Communication).
    • Certified test centre (test to be paid for)
