The UFR Sciences has developed a range of specific training courses, enabling our students to train for teaching jobs.
Optional teaching units (UE) allow undergraduate students who want to go into these professions to think about the skills needed to practice them. These units should enable these students to validate their professional choice.

School teacher
This profession requires a broad scientific culture in order to be able to apprehend scientific phenomena in all scientific fields: biology, physics, chemistry, earth sciences... This is why we offer the possibility to students who have validated their second year of degree to do a 3rd year "pluriscience". This year allows students to broaden their knowledge to other scientific disciplines than the one(s) studied during the first two years.
After a Bachelor's degree, it is necessary to enroll in the Master's degree in Teaching, Education and Training (MEEF) carried by INSPE in order to prepare for the competitive examination for school teachers. -

- in Mathematics: the preparation for the agrégation is a course of the speciality of the master "Mathematics and application".

- in Life and Earth Sciences Life and Earth Sciences: there is a specific year of preparation after the Master's degree.

Teacher-researcher
A competitive process is required after obtaining a PhD and usually at least one year of post-doctoral experience.
