    This course is aimed at science students who love science and want to share their scientific knowledge in a school or extracurricular environment. The course enables them to acquire a real command of scientific knowledge and the tools needed to pass it on. To achieve this, the course uses an innovative teaching method based on a large amount of personal work (dissertations, presentations, experimental work), enabling students to become more autonomous, more active and more responsible. A perfect command of the French language is essential if students are to share their knowledge with others, and this course gives pride of place to French in a variety of forms. This course is particularly well suited to students wishing to go into science dissemination and teaching in schools. At the end of this course, students should be able to look after and educate school and extra-curricular students about science by transmitting multi-disciplinary knowledge in a rigorous and pedagogical manner.

  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    The course is aimed primarily at students wishing to go on to a master's degree in meef 1er degré or scientific dissemination or requiring multidisciplinary training.

  • FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES

    Students accessing this course have a L2 in a particular subject (maths, physics, chemistry, SV, SVT, etc.) or a scientific BTS. They have mastered the knowledge and concepts taught in their original L2 course

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    Competences acquired

    • BCC1: To enrich and enhance one's career through adapted professional practices à a multidisciplinary scientific framework. Through cross-disciplinary UEs (English, pro-meef, internship), students will develop their autonomy, establish a foundation of linguistic knowledge, master the specificities of both disciplinary and technical lexicons in French and English, etc
    • BCC2 : Analyse scientific phénomènes and their impacts through the'acquisition of pluri- & transdisciplinary knowledge. Through scientific discipline-based UEs, the student will learn to master a core of scientific knowledge, link the various disciplines studied, use digital tools, report results ...
    • BCC3: Design and carry out a project to answer a scientific question; construct an argumentative analysis and a personal reflection based on literary documents and one's own culture. In the context of interactive projects, group work will be developed, as well as the implementation of a reflection on a question by developing one's critical sense.
  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    The course offers a guided observation placement in a school or the opportunity to work as a science coach to a school teacher for students wishing to become teachers, but also in a science outreach structure for students wishing to move into science outreach.

  • SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS

    The pluriscience teaching team uses traditional teaching methods but also develops innovative teaching methods using problem-based approaches, peer learning and inverted classes. Students are involved and develop a rigorous scientific approach.
