The Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Council, through this Prize, promotes interdisciplinary research, whether fundamental or applied, in the social and human sciences as well as in the exact sciences.
The aim of this event is to honour the department's scientific community (exact sciences, humanities and social sciences, medicine, etc.) by awarding 3 prizes: the GrandPrix, the Young Researcher Prize and the Special Prize. These prizes reward researchers, young researchers, collaborators and research teams who have recently distinguished themselves by the originality of their work and/or its impact on civil society and the economy of Provence, nationally and internationally.
The prizes are open to scientific and technological communities located throughout the Bouches-du-Rhône department. So, you, Researchers and Teachers, join us in this adventure, communicate, show your know-how, your skills and those of your teams. Beyond the financial support given to your structure, the media coverage given to the event will allow you to acquire or confirm a certain notoriety among the scientific community and the general public.
The "Departmental Prize for Research in Provence" will be awarded on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, starting at 10:30 a.m., at the Hôtel du Département in Marseille.
