The professional degree in landscape design trains site manager's staff in design offices, landscape companies or local authority departments.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
Skills to be acquired by the end of the course:
- Use multidisciplinary knowledge to carry out a diagnosis, study and implement a project in a co-responsible manner.
- Collect and analyse the information and data required to understand a study or intervention area, in order to develop a diagnosis and propose a landscape development project.
- Introduce communication methods specific to companies in the landscaping sector through exchanges with clients and various partners.

- Run individual or team projects in response to landscaping problems arising from real orders from the professional world.
- Use its multidisciplinary skills in project development at the various stages of the diagnosis or project or the implementation of a site.
- Possess a know-how allowing a very good knowledge going from the diagnosis à the implementation of the project.
The training must also enable the acquisition of very good knowledge in the field of botany and multidisciplinary skills enabling the selection of the most suitable plants for landscaping and/or maintaining green spaces and landscaped areas in accordance with sustainable development.
The two courses share the Common Core (English, Business Creation, Communication, Environmental Law) and a Teaching Unit (TU): Technical Modelling in Development.
Competences specific to pathway 2 (landscape site manager) : Mastering the planning and management of a site in a co-responsible manner within the framework of effective supervision.
INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS
This course includes a work placement which alternates throughout the year (16 weeks) and a tutor project carried out around May (4-5 weeks).

SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS
A basic knowledge course (TC) will be organised around the following subjects: English, communication, quality, knowledge of institutions, economics and business.) This teaching will count for 6 ECTS.
6 specialised courses of 60 hours each (360 hours), representing a total of 36 ECTS, will form the core of the teaching. They will include botany, plant ecology, geographical, regulatory and sociological approaches, as well as GIS software (Q-GIS), CAD/CAM software (AUTOCAD 2D) and Dream Flore.
For this pathway, the student will be able to use a wide range of tools and techniques, such as the use of the Internet and the use of the internet.
