MPCI Online Selection Process

Welcome to the 2021 selection process page of the MPCI license

This year, due to the health crisis, the usual written and oral selection tests are cancelled and replaced by a selection process that will take place entirely at a distance via this web page (read all the way). The selection process will consist of 2 steps:

  • Step 1: Watch a video presentation of the MPCI degree. It aims to give you all the information about the degree that you might need for your choice of orientation. Duration: 40 minutes.
  • Step 2: Fill in an active online orientation questionnaire. This step is important to help you think about your orientation and, if you finally join us, it will be the first step of an individualized follow-up that will last the 3 years of the degree. Duration: 5 to 15 minutes.

This process must becompleted before May 6, 2021 at 9am (Paris time) but we advise you to do it as soon as possible.

Attention: The fact of following this selection process until the end and before Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 9:00 am ismandatory to be able, if your file is sufficient, to appear in the final ranking of the MPCI license. If you do not complete the 2nd stage before this date, your application will be considered as abandoned, you will not be ranked on Parcoursup and you will not be able to apply for the first year of the MPCI degree thereafter.

Optional sessions to answer your questions

As the health conditions have made it very rare to meet the managers of the degree or current students, we have chosen to organize sessions open to all Parcoursup candidates to answer your questions by videoconference. Managers, teachers and current students will be connected. Anyone who wishes to ask a question or simply listen is welcome, including parents, grandparents, tutors, teachers, acquaintances... Participation in these sessions is entirely optional. Three sessions are scheduled:

  • Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 10am to 12pm,
  • Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm,
  • Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm.

These sessions will take place via Zoom or BigBlueButton depending on the number of participants. Registration is done via the last question of the active orientation questionnaire. Please note that only candidates who have registered at least 24 hours before the session will be contacted by email to give them the link to follow for these sessions.

  • Step 2: Active Orientation Questionnaire

    The questionnaire of active orientation is mainly used to ask you questions about your profile and its adaptation to the MPCI licence. The fact of not filling in this questionnaire is equivalent to an abandonment of the selection process of the license (and therefore you will not be classified on Parcoursup and you will not be able to integrate the first year of the MPCI license in 2021), but the information you will provide in this questionnaire does not intervene in the order of the final classification on Parcoursup. However, the answers of this questionnaire are useful if you finally join the MPCI degree next year, because this questionnaire forms the first part of an individualized follow-up during the 3 years of the degree. It is therefore important to fill it in sincerely.

    Active orientation questionnaire

    Once the active orientation questionnaire has been completed (i.e. after reading the message "This active orientation questionnaire is finished. We have recorded your answers"), you have completed the online selection process. The results will be available on Parcoursup at the same time as all the other streams, from 27 May 2021.

  • Séances d'information sur la licence MPCI

    Pour vous aider dans votre choix d’orientation et pour répondre à vos questions, nous organisons des séances ouvertes à tous les candidats Parcoursup à la faculté des sciences de Saint-Jérôme et en distanciel. Des responsables, des enseignants et des étudiants actuels seront présents pour vous présenter un peu plus en détail la licence et répondre à vos questions éventuelles.

    La participation à l'une de ces séances est totalement facultative et n’aura aucune incidence sur le classement final. Toutes les personnes souhaitant poser une ou des questions ou simplement écouter sont les bienvenues.

    La session en présentiel aura lieu sur le campus de Saint-Jérôme :

    • le lundi 29 avril 2024 : de 15h00 à 17h00

    La session en distanciel (via Zoom) aura lieu :

    • le samedi 4 mai  2024 : de 10h à 11h30

    Si vous souhaitez participer à l'une de ces séances, l'inscription est obligatoire et se fait via la dernière question du questionnaire de la deuxième étape. Attention, seuls les candidats inscrits au moins 24h avant la date de la session seront recontactés par mail pour obtenir les détails de la séance (lieu exact ou lien de connexion).
