Framing bonuses

Students may choose to take one or two optional activities for which they will receive a semester bonus. This choice must be made by the student when registering for the semester.

Aix-Marseille Université defines five bonus categories:

The bonus thus obtained translates into an increase in the semester's UE average, subject to a maximum increase of 0.5 points, regardless of the number of activities actually taken by the student. The bonus mark can be retained from one semester to the next within the same year, but cannot be capitalized on when repeating a year. Please note: no bonus is possible in Master 2.

The procedures for collecting and valorizing activities giving rise to bonuses are presented below:

Bonus information

Aix-Marseille University promotes student commitment by offering "Bonuses".

  • All undergraduate and Master 1 students. There are no bonuses for Master 2 students.
  • Registration for a bonus is free.
  • Any bonus can earn up to 0.50 points.
  • It is possible to register for several types of bonus per semester, but the maximum bonus may not exceed +0.5 points on the semester average.

Please note: places are limited on most bonus activities and require double enrolment.

For the odd-numbered semester:

  • 1st workshop registration (with the activity coordinator).
  • 2nd pedagogical registration (on the web via ENT) from October 31 to November 15, 2025.

For the even-numbered semester:

  • 1st workshop registration (with the activity coordinator).
  • 2nd pedagogical registration (on the web via ENT) from February 28 to March 15, 2026

EU promoting women in science

The aim of this bonus is to create resources that will be disseminated within secondary and higher education establishments to raise the profile of women in science, combat stereotypes and inspire young girls to pursue scientific studies.

The aim is to raise the profile of young women in science. The project has two components:

  1. Training component: an introduction to be followed remotely for around 1 hour and personal work to gain a better understanding of the problem of the under-representation of women (explanations, issues, solutions).
  2. Action component: production of a "portrait" of a current or current student from one of the UFR Sciences courses, in the form of a video clip and poster.

Groups of 2 or 3 students can participate.

Bonus "Students involved in the representation of the training offer".

This bonus rewards students who promote their field of study at fairs, forums or events organized by the Faculty of Science. The aim is to reward students' commitment to presenting the Faculty of Science's range of courses in the best possible way, by informing, advising and dialoguing with future students and their families.

Intended for: Licence 1 to Master 1 students (M2 students are not eligible for the bonus).

Please note: The bonus is awarded for one semester, renewable under certain conditions.

  • Terms and conditions

    • Hourly volume :
      +0.25: having carried out assignments totalling at least 8 hours of work in the semester.
      +0.50: completion of assignments totaling at least 16 hours during the semester.
    • Validation: Bonus points are not awarded automatically. Its level is validated with the managers present at the trade shows/events, depending on the student's actual involvement in all the activities.
    • Compulsory training : Participation in a training session on AMU's range of courses and how to present yourself at trade fairs (e.g. Studyrama in mid-November).
    • Tools: Access to a dedicated AMETICE course to prepare presentations.
    • Debriefing: Fill in a debriefing sheet after each intervention (statistics on profiles met, frequently asked questions, information to highlight on social networks, etc.).
    • Debriefing meeting: Participation in a global debriefing meeting on the actions carried out.
  • Application process

    • Recruitment: Year heads identify student volunteers.
    • Number of students per stand: To be specified by the course leaders (maximum to be defined according to the event).
    • Deadline: Application to be sent 15 days before the event.

Student Delegate Bonus

This bonus rewards the commitment of student delegates, elected to represent their peers within the UFR and the university. They are the representatives of their class. Their role is essential in relaying educational issues, improving student life and actively participating in campus life. The bonus rewards their attendance, motivation and contribution to collective actions.

    • +0.25 : Attendance at meetings and activities, acceptable involvement and motivation.
    • +0.50: Attendance at meetings and activities, strong involvement and/or participation in the production of large-scale actions on campus (e.g.: organizing an event, carrying out a survey, creating a unifying project, etc.).
    • Validation : Bonus points are not awarded automatically. Its level is assessed by the year manager, according to the student's real involvement throughout the semester.
  • How the bonus is awarded

    • +0.25 : Attendance at meetings and activities, acceptable involvement and motivation.
    • +0.50: Attendance at meetings and activities, strong involvement and/or participation in the production of large-scale actions on campus (e.g.: organizing an event, carrying out a survey, creating a unifying project, etc.).
    • Validation : Bonus points are not awarded automatically. Its level is assessed by the year manager, according to the student's real involvement throughout the semester.
  • Application process and tools

    • Training: Mandatory participation in a training course on the structure of the UFR and Aix-Marseille Université.
    • AMETICE courses: Access to a dedicated space for sharing common information and useful resources.
    • Permanences: Active participation in "Student Life" permanences.
    • Assessments: Participation in assessment meetings with delegate directors and/or site administrators.
