Special Education Scheme (SES)
Special study regimes are offered by the University, enabling students in situations described in the document approved by the CFVU on July 6, 2023 to make various specific arrangements.
These arrangements are discussed with the year manager and are the subject of a contract. You need to download the form, complete it with the year manager and submit it to the Registrar's Office on your teaching site. You will then be notified of the decision by the relevant school department. It's best to do this when you register for your course.
Full details of these arrangements are also available on the university website: https://www.univ-amu.fr/fr/public/amenagement-detudes
High-level athletes (SHN-AMU status)
The university has set up a performance support system for top-level sports students. The aim is to provide them with the best possible support in their dual project of sporting excellence and academic and professional success.
academic and professional success.
Students enrolled at AMU and exercising a sporting activity at a high level may therefore be granted, on request, SHN-AMU status in order to benefit from a special study regime, described in the charter approved by the Board of Directors on July 17, 2018.
This request must be made by the student at the start of the academic year, according to the procedure and timetable specified on the University website.
All information concerning this scheme can be found on this page, along with contact details for the SHN referent in the Faculty of Science.
Please note : the allocation of SHN-AMU status is decided by the high-level commission for the current academic year, and is the subject of a special pedagogical contract specifying the accommodations granted. Students must therefore renew their application each year.
Special-needs artists
Under the Special Study Scheme, students engaged in regular or intensive artistic practice, which is difficult to reconcile with a full-time course of study, can benefit from special arrangements.
The granting of this status is not automatic. The student concerned should apply to the Culture and Society Department, preferably at the beginning of the academic year. Eligibility for this status will be assessed by the "Special Needs Student Artists" Commission.
